Love is better

It is always true that when we feel fear, sadness, anger and resentment that the trouble lies within ourselves.  Always.  Love is so much better.  Loving ourselves is the key to loving everyone else in our lives with a true and steady heart, knowing we deserve to give love as well as be loved.

This year, I know the recent big changes in my life will continue.  The way back has burned down and it's gone . . . and I am afraid sometimes, yet happy that the territory behind us is gone and the way ahead leads only to a loving future.  The entire dynamic of my life and those I love most has shifted . . . and it will take awhile for the ground beneath our feet to settle.  But what's most important to me is that even though we are changed, we can still love one another, and maybe . . . just maybe because we no longer live our lives as we once did . . . we can support one another better. 

And so as this new year begins, I send a shining wish into the deepest heavens that we will all remember to choose love.  Love is better.
