I love my life. I mean, it's amazing to me to have moved through a literal 'burning down' of the life I lived for more than a quarter century. Sifting through the ashes, my best friend and I found eachother. Our stories are so similar and our interests are meshed. We've held onto eachother, we've helped one another up and we will always love and respect our children, grandchildren and dream of a home, a space where one day we will all meet and be together, learning about and loving eachother and allowing a new stream of light into our busy lives.
Moving on, let me tell you is not easy. It's not meant to be. Growth can be painful and it's work to hold on to civility, kindess, belief and f-a-i-t-h. It's hard because . . . well simply put, it's hard because of love. And it's worth it. Because of love.
I've already moved. Physically that is. I'll be begining a new blog (new link to arrive here soon). This one will remain and get all spiffed up with new art, graphics, news and fun! Ethereal will always remain.
Meantime, we're creating a new place in cyberspace. The new blog will feature my new life, new apartment and how my rock star boyfriend and I are carving out our 'now' lives within it. It will be about interior design, wall art, music, love and how it all continues to amaze me, feed my soul and how deep, true and honest the flow I enjoy alongside Him is. I had to give a taste of what's to come . . .
We live in an apartment nestled deep amongst huge pines and vintage architecture on the west side of a charming, magical town. Above an antique store and right around the corner from a neighborhood market the likes of which I once rode my bicycle to as a kid to buy candy, Rock star and I stroll through old streets and bumpy sidewalks and soak in art, live music, drink, food and . . . eachother.
above is a view of our 'hood . . from our front door landing at the top of our staircase:
Our rooftop place has no lawn to mow, but we have a sweet patio that overlooks rooftops, brings us closer to the moon . . . and the sun.
Music is central to this place and art is always in the air, in our hair and on our minds . . .
and some things . . . can't be explained.
We love it here. In fact, we are perfectly suited to this space.
